Hockey players' entire neck, even the junction, is fully protected. The protector provides all-round protection for the throat, trachea and spine. The insert made of special material is soft and flexible and does not create a load. When hit by a flying puck, the material hardens immediately and perfectly absorbs and disperses most of the impact energy, thus neutralising the impact. Once the impact has been neutralised, the material returns to its original shape. As a result, the padding effectively protects the neck from injuries caused by the impact of a stick or puck.

The anatomical features of the neck are adapted through a thermoforming process to ensure maximum comfort in hockey.
